My role as the Operations Manager is to provide strategic leadership, improve performance, procuring material and resources and securing compliance.
Overseeing the big picture of the organisation. I am responsible for managing processes, purchasing, accounting, human resources, IT and service delivery.
Coordinating all activities in accordance with the kawa and tikanga of Ngāi Tamawhariua hapū and the goals and objectives of the Board of Trustees.
The Operations Manager works in partnership with the Board of Trustees to lead, support, coordinate and monitor employees within Te Rūnanga o Ngāi Tamawhariua.
Though the indigenous system of care “Tūāpapa” I ensure the delivery of our services to our hapori (community), hapū and whānau are administered through the core values tika, pono and aroha.
I love my job because I have the opportunity to improve access to services and opportunities for our hapori, hapu and whānau.
