adult mental health

Our adult mental health services provide support for those experiencing mental health challenges such as anxiety, grief, depression, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, or issues related to alcohol and drug use.

Through therapeutic kōrero and holistic guidance, we aim to uplift and empower individuals to enhance their overall wellbeing and live fulfilling lives. Support is delivered in a culturally safe, confidential environment, grounded in respect and compassion.

We take a whole-person approach—nurturing tinana (physical wellbeing), hinengaro (mental and emotional wellbeing), and wairua (spiritual wellbeing). Practical awhi and tautoko are also available, including help with navigating medical or psychiatric appointments.

Mental health and risk assessments can also be carried out as part of this service.

If this is an emergency:

  • 📞 Call 111 immediately if anyone is in immediate physical danger.

  • 🏥 Go to your nearest hospital Emergency Department (ED).

  • Visit https://mentalhealth.org.nz/help to find your local Mental Health Crisis Team (CATT Team)
